With a combination of familiar pop music and contemporary symphonic pieces, the Kamiak Show Band depicts the two methods in which humans communicate. Music and words. With the musical thread of Alanis Morisette's Uninvited, the haunting melody connects us to the musical aspect of the show. Through a percussive journey of city life, we are lead through a journey of words and music. Then with the vocal range of Imogen Heap's, The Moment I Said It, we explore the importance of not only what is being said, but the importance of your message. At the pinnacle of the production, we hear Philip Glass', V2 Schneider combined with Morisette's Uninvited to combine both music and words, realizing the idea that when words fail, music speaks.
